About this item

This listing covers 1 unit of the Hikvision DS-7732NXI-K4 NVR with 2 x 4 TB WD Purple Drives. Condition and purchase details are not recorded for this listing yet. We confirm them on enquiry.

A network video recorder stores and plays back footage from IP cameras. It connects to your network, powers PoE models in some versions, and takes internal hard drives.

Good to know: Sold as one set: the recorder with its two 4 TB drives installed. The new price combines the recorder (Rs 32,000) and the two drives (Rs 10,500 each). Model numbers are taken from the supplier invoice. Ask us for the latest drive-health status.

Where it is useful

Typical ways buyers put a network video recorder (NVR) to work:

• Recording footage from a multi-camera IP system
• Replacing a recorder in an existing Hikvision installation
• Central viewing of site cameras

Before you buy: what to check

Used equipment is easy to get right if you check a few things first:

• Channel count and total bandwidth it supports
• Number of hard drive bays and whether drives are included
• Firmware version and camera compatibility
• Whether the unit has PoE ports or needs a switch

Not sure about compatibility? Send us your set-up and we will tell you what we can confirm.
